Tracking links are used in VK Ads campaigns to account for clicks and their correct attribution on the tracking system's side.
A tracking link is a link that takes the user to the app store to install an app or, if the app is already installed, opens it.
All tracking links include specific domains and link tokens. In addition, the links also contain parameters for collecting additional campaign data, user engagement, and redirecting users to the app or the app store.
Link structure
An example of a regular tracking link:

General requirements for tracking links
- Links should use only the allowed domain
app.adjust.com
- There should always be 3 required parameters in the link.:
- campaign
- adgroup
- creative
- mytarget_click_id
The remaining parameters from the current configuration are optional, and we consider them optional.
- Each mandatory link parameter (except mytarget_click_id) can have either its own specific macro or a text value. The mytarget_click_id parameter should always contain only the {clickid} macro

- The link should not contain several identical required parameters with different values:

The advertising system will not allow you to save the banner ad if:
- A domain other than is used
app.adjust.com
- The tracking link is missing all or some required parameters.
- The required parameters have an incorrect macro or value.
- Required parameters have no value or macro.
- The tracking link contains several identical required parameters.
Rules for validating tracking links for apps from RuStore
If the campaign uses the Adjust tracking link for an app from RuStore, then the link must contain the redirect parameter, which contains a direct link to the app in Rustore.
The value of the redirect parameter for the RuStore platform contains an old RuStore link: https://apps.rustore.ru It is recommended to replace it with a new one: https://www.rustore.ru
