Forecaster

The forecaster in the VK Advertising account will help you see what reach, number of impressions and clicks you can get even before launching an advertising campaign. It takes into account the campaign budget, bid strategy, auction, targeting.

The system calculates data for 7 days. During this period, we will be able to evaluate and take into account not only user behavior, but also changes in the auction, seasonal events.

You can use this data to select appropriate targeting and improve the effectiveness of advertising.

How to go to the forecaster

To go to the forecaster:

  1. In the "Campaigns" section, on the "Campaigns" tab, click "Create".
  2. Select the desired promotion object and specify the campaign settings.
  3. Go to the ad group settings level and add the desired targeting. Learn more about targeting
  4. A forecaster will appear in the upper right corner. The system will automatically calculate audience data based on your settings.

The forecaster values ​​are affected by the targetings you specify. For example, if a campaign is configured to target communities, the audience reach in the forecaster may be greater than the number of community members.

This is possible because the reach includes not only members, but also those who interacted with the group's publications - reacted and shared posts.
