You can transfer ads campaigns from your VKontakte cabinet to the VK Ads cabinet so that you don't have to waste your time setting up new ones. VKontakte cabinet will remain active.
To transfer campaigns: :
- Go to the ads account of VKontakte
- In the list of campaigns, tick the desired one or go to a specific campaign → click on the “Transfer to VK Ads” button.
- A screen with the list of ads and targeting will open: the system will show you which settings can be transferred to the VK Ads cabinet and which cannot. Green color will be highlighted settings that can be transferred unambiguously, yellow - with restrictions, gray - not transferred. Choose which ads to transfer.
- Click on the “Export” button.
- The transfer of announcements will begin. It takes from a minute to an hour, sometimes up to 6 hours.
Exported campaigns will keep their names. They will appear in VK Ads with [Export] and the campaign or ad ID from your VKontakte account. Examples:
- for campaigns and groups: “[Export] Campaign name ID:6666”
- for ads: “[Export] Ad name ID:7777”
All campaigns are migrated in a disabled state. You will need to manually start them.
Features
- If you do not have a VK ID, we will offer to connect it.
- If you don't have a VK Advertising account, you can create one automatically when transferring it. To do this, after clicking on the “Transfer to VK Ads” button, select “Create VK Ads account and continue”.
- For physical persons, the data of ODS will be automatically transferred to the new cabinet, for legal entities the form with details will be pre-filled. You can correct them or leave them unchanged.
- Ads in the account VKontakte are not archived during migration.
- During the migration for campaigns with community and personal page promotion, choose a bid strategy: minimum or maximum. We will also calculate the cost per conversion. You can apply the suggested value or specify your own.
- After migration you will see information about the status: successful or unsuccessful migration.
- Check the migrated ads: since the ad formats in the offices are different, text and images may be converted.
- You can transfer up to 30 campaigns at a time.
- Once the funds have been transferred and the VKontakte office is closed, you will not be able to transfer campaigns.
- Only a manager with a connected VK ID can make a transfer in the agency cabinet.
- You can migrate ad campaigns of the formats: “Universal record”, “Personal page ads”, “Site ads”, “Mini App ads”, “Clip ads”, “Сarousel”.
