Test mode allows you to check the correctness of integration and display of advertising creatives before the start of displaying live ads.
You can set up the test mode on the devices you specify.
To add and configure a test device:
- Go to “Tools” → “Test mode”.
- Click the “Add device” button.
- In the dialog box that opens, enter the device IDs:
- for Android devices, specify the Google advertising ID (AAID)
- for iOS devices — advertising ID (IDFA)
- Then select the format of the creative you want to test from the drop-down list and click “Save”.
- To activate a block, you need to send 1-3 requests.
- The block becomes active in 10-15 minutes after the first few requests, and the response should be at least every third request.
- If the active block has not responded within 10 minutes after 10 requests, please contact the support service — adnetwork_support@vk.company.
- The active block is deactivated after 3 days, take this into account when planning tests.
You can extend or disable the test mode in the device table using the "Turn on / Turn off" button.
