A platform for quickly launching effective advertising on VK projects. Allows you to interact with users of social networks, classifieds, media projects and advertising networks, turning them into your customers.

To promote VKontakte videos and streams, use campaigns with the Videos and Streams objective. We'll show your ads to VKontakte users who are most likely to be interested in your content: watch the stream, save the video or share it in a message, etc.  

This type of campaign is suitable for bloggers, streamers, small and medium business owners who run ads themselves or through an agency.

Currently, video and streams objective are only available to users authorized via VK ID. 

Campaign creation

Step 1. To create a new campaign, in the Campaigns section, click Create.

Step 2. Select the Video and streams objective.

Step 3. Fill in the Community field: select an available community from the drop-down list. For the community to appear in the list, you must be a community administrator and sign in to VK Ads with your VK ID with the same login (via the same VKontakte page that is assigned as the community administrator).

Step 4. Set up an advertising campaign.

  • Target Action. You can select only one target action - “Watching videos and streams”. Ads will be seen by users who are more likely to watch a streams or video.   
  • Campaign bid strategy. Allows you to limit the maximum bid or minimize spending in order to achieve the best results within a specified budget. Learn more about different strategy
  • Campaign budget optimization. Campaign budget optimization will allocate the budget between your ads so that you get more targeted actions. An algorithm determines which ads perform better and allocates a larger share of the daily campaign budget to them. Learn more about budget optimization 
  • Budget. The setting limits the amount you can spend per day or for the entire duration of a campaign. Learn more about budget

Step 5. Set up targeting for the ad group. Learn more about targeting

You can have one or more ads in one group with common settings. To create multiple ads in one group:

  1. Set the group settings you want.
  2. Go to the step of creating an ad, fill in all the necessary fields.
  3. In the menu on the left, click on "..." next to the name of the group and choose Add ad. Another option is to duplicate the ad you created and then make changes. To do this, click on "..." next to the name of the ad and choose Duplicate ad.

You can also create multiple groups of ads with different settings within one campaign. To do this, click on "..." in the menu on the left side of the campaign and select Add Group.

In the Placement block, you can select the platforms on which your ads will be broadcast. For now, only the VKontakte feed is available for video promotion (mobile and web versions).

Please note: you can build an audience of users who reacted to your ad (liked, shared, watched the video) and show ads only to them. Learn more about creating such an audience

Step 6. Customize your ad. 

On the “Ad” step, select 1 or more videos or live streams you plan to promote: up to 10 videos. Here you can also add a description, delete or swap videos.

You should not use emoji or text written in capital letters in your ad description. Such ads will not pass moderation. 

Don't worry if you entered something incorrectly. You can return to any of the previous steps: edit, save as drafts, correct errors, etc.

How to evaluate the result

To analyze the results, use the statistics. You can also add new metrics to analyze your advertising campaign in more detail. More about statistics
