Clients and Managers are available to organize the management of advertisers in the VK Ads agency account.
Manager is a VK Ads account created by an agency or advertiser to view financial information and statistics, and to view or make changes to campaigns. Both agency employees and advertiser representatives can act as a manager.
Use the Permissions tab to organize work with customer accounts.
Adding managers
You can add an agency manager only after the agency details on the Budget tab are filled out and checked.
To add a new manager, you need to register a new manager account and then add it to the agency. When registering a manager account, be sure to select the Advertiser account type (not Agency).
The manager needs:
- Register email. It is most convenient to use Mail.Ru or Google mail - this way the user will be able to select an account for authorization.
- Log in to https://ads.vk.com via this account.
- When registering, select:
- type: Advertiser,
- status: Individual or Legal entity,
- country and currency of the account must match the agency's.
Manager account created. To connect to the agency, you will need an account ID - you can find it on the Settings tab in the Account ID field.
Next, you need to add a manager to the agency. For this:
- In the agency account, go to the Permissions tab → Add manager.
- Enter the manager's account ID and name - this is how it will be displayed in the agency's account.
In case of a myTarget manager, enter a name for the VK Ads account and the myTarget user name (can be viewed in the myTarget account → Profile → Contact information → Username).
A manager account must be new, with no ad campaigns or payments; the country and currency should match those of the agency.
The manager's account must be new, without advertising campaigns and payments, the country and currency of the account must be the same as the agency account.
Please note, when creating a new account it has the Advertiser type, and when adding it to an agency, the account type changes to Agency Manager.
If the account has been granted access rights to some advertisers' accounts, these rights will be revoked when the type is changed to Agency Manager. To regain access to advertisers' accounts, add them on the Clients tab.
Linking a client to a manager
One manager can have several clients and vice versa.
Permissions are configured individually for each client.
To add a new client, go to Permissions → Managers, find the manager on the list, and press Add client. Choose one or more clients, set the permissions, and save. If you choose multiple clients at once, permissions for them will be the same. The maximum number of clients to make a mass adding should not exceed 50 pcs. per one operation.
To add clients with different permissions, add them separately.
To change the permissions, locate the client on the manager’s client list and press the pencil icon (Edit).

Unlinking a client from a manager
To unlink a client from a manager, locate the latter on the Permissions tab, press the pencil icon (Edit) → Remove access.
To unlink all clients, press Remove all access for the manager on the Permissions tab.
Deleting managers
To delete manager, go to Permissions → Managers, locate the manager, open their page, and press Edit → Delete manager.
