VK Ads has launched a set of tools to reach out to a wide audience: banner and video ads can now be broadcast to users of all VK projects

With VK Ads tools, businesses of all sizes are already delivering against their performance tasks, getting more target actions at a lower cost. As a recent addition, the ad account now features a beta tool to improve brand awareness and reach, setting the stage for future sales.
Ads are displayed across all of VK projects, including VKontakte and Odnoklassniki social media platforms, media projects, and a wide range of partner websites. Initial tests show that the new tools help advertisers achieve an up to 20% improvement in their reach.

Select your ad format and what you intend to advertise. Determine your budget and bid strategy.
The first strategy is about algorithms doing their best to display your ad to as many target users as possible within your budget. Under the fixed bid strategy, you set the cost per 1,000 impressions, and your campaign will be competing with other ads at the same cost. Finally, the bid cap strategy causes algorithms to cover as many users within a given cost range as possible.
Create ad groups – one for each audience segment. Ad impressions can be customized based on just about any parameter. To do that, use targeting by device type, geography, demographics, interests, key phrases, and communities.
Upload static and video creatives in all the formats you have. VK Ads algorithms will display the ads in the format that is likely to capture the attention of a specific user on a specific platform.
Once the ads are launched, you can see the statistics on impressions via the dashboard. An impression is counted and paid if at least 50% of the static banner’s area is on screen in an active browser window for at least one second; for videos, the thresholds is at least two seconds.
