Advertise music to users based on their preferred artists
Our new targeting parameters help musicians find their audiences among fans of other artists that use VKontakte

Artists can advertise their music by increasing track streams and saves count with VK Ads. From now on, musicians and labels can target those who listen to music on VKontakte – and that’s more than 45 million people.
Based on the artists that users listen to, you can decide what other musicians can be of interest to them. With new ads, musicians will be able to find an engaged audience while also helping VKontakte users discover new stars in their favourite music style.
In VK Ads, it is enough to indicate artists whose audiences you are interested in. The platform’s algorithms will be showing your ads to the most engaged users, i.e. those who have been listening to tracks in question regularly and multiple times. Also, you can remove fans of other artists from the ad audience. Users will be seeing ads where they can directly proceed to listening to tracks – that’s in the VKontakte feed and VK Video.
Thanks to VK Ads algorithms, ads will be displayed to fans of chosen artists that are deemed most likely to start listening to a track or a playlist.
By targeting music listeners, you can advertise any object in VK Ads. To do that, go to the Audiences tab and create an audience by choosing the Musicians source. Enter the names of musicians or bands and save your audience. To display ads to these users, choose the respective audience in User audiences when creating an ad set.
